I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Newark, DE) in Aug 2012
Interview
Applied online, received call from HR a couple of weeks after for a basic phone screening, set up for actual interview during the same call. A week later interviewed with local analyst manager along with V.P. of underwriting. Consisted of personal and resume based discussion, knowledge of position/field, customer service/communication oriented topics, and most importantly a case-study. They explained the case-study, gave me thirty minutes to complete, then asked me to explain conclusions to them.
There was an Online hirevue portion and then one phone call with 2 members of the team. Interview went well but previous candidates likely received precedent. I interviewed sort of late.
Straightforward interview. She asked about my background and then told me about the position. She didn’t ask any trick questions. I would consider her a both nice and warm interviewer.
One way interview practice questions are simple. The actual interview questions are complex and in-depth. STAR behavioral interview questions are the bane of my existence. I would rather drag my balls through a field of thorns than have to go through that again.
