I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Sarasota, FL) in Oct 2016
Interview
I was contacted by someone named Pat that they saw my resume and it was a great match for a position they had available. She asked me what kind of work I was looking for. I told her that I liked working with people and she said the position was customer service and working your way into a management position that would do a lot of coaching and mentoring of others. I asked where
I could go to find out more information about the company and she told me that the website would look more like it was a sales job but it's not sales...it is customer service. I went to the interview and within 2 minutes I found out the Customer Service position is really a Sales position. 100% commission based sales position. I was very unhappy since Pat assured me it was not a sales position. I felt very deceived with what Pat told me. The position sounded okay, the training seemed good and the person I met with was very nice; however I am not interested in sales at all. It really bothers me that I drove 45 minutes each way because Pat was deceitful in explaining what the job was.
