The interview process began with a telephone interview with a senior manager. This was a 30-min informal conversation. The face-to-face interview was onsite but again the questions were relevant to the role and more importantly specific. There was not the usual open-ended questions you get in a normal interview. It was just like having a conversation with someone about what I do and what skills I have. It was also an opportunity for me to learn more about the role, the technology and the team I would be working with.
