I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Basket Entertainment in Oct 2022
Interview
Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful hiring process.
After the initial interview, I was given a test assignment that took me over 3 hours to complete. After submitting it, the company spent several months giving vague updates, constantly postponing any decision, referring to an “MVP release” and a “temporary hiring pause,” while providing no feedback at all and taking no responsibility for the candidate experience.
In the end, I was simply ignored after completing the test task. When I explicitly raised the issue of my time being wasted, I received a standard response: “we do not pay for test tasks,” completely ignoring the core problem — the lack of feedback, accountability, and basic respect toward candidates.
If a company does not have the resources to hire, it should not assign test tasks. If it does assign them, it should at least provide a decision and feedback. This did not happen here.
The overall impression is that the company does not value candidates’ time at all.

Interview
Fairly straightforward. Three rounds with first round with a rec recruiter, then a second round with a more middle level person and a final round with the company executives. Each round lasted no more than 30 minutes.
