I applied online. I interviewed at Behavioral Perspective (Aurora, IL) in Aug 2021
Interview
Was actually very easy. After applying they called me a few days after and did a phone interview then a few days later had my second interview with the RBT manager and she was very sweet and got the job immediately!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you want to work here?
Do you have any experience with kids?
Bring something that describes you (something you own) and tell me why you love it!
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Behavioral Perspective (Oswego, IL) in Jan 2024
Interview
The interview process was a mixture of me displaying a want to work with young children in the community and having a history of doing so, and them giving me a basic understanding of how ABA works along with testing a few creative skills surrounding common scenarios that may be encountered.
I think the interview is relatively easy if this is a field you're interested in and you're able to show that. But if you're just looking for a job where you clock in and clock out and get paid. The interview itself will be a lot more difficult to get through, genuine passion for the type of work you're doing will go a long way.
I believe I may be biased though because I had previous experience working with children. So it's potential that my interview would've been easier.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There was a interview process where my creativity was challenged by being given a set of objects and asked to roleplay a scenario of showing the interviewer how to play with said objects.
