BioSyent interview questions

The interview processes was multiple rounds of interviews where I had an interview and didn't hear back for a month. Most were okay but many steps were a repeat of the same questions and they kept questioning if I was sure I wanted to work there (they convinced me I didn't). Eventually had an interview with the CEO and he kept asking me personal questions - about my family, what my parents do, whats my living situation, why am I in this field if no one in my family is etc. - found it all very strange and uncomfortable. Then proceeded to have a 5th round "check in" where they said they were still considering their options.
