We appreciate your feedback on your interview experience with our company. We would like to take this opportunity to address some of the points you raised in your review and provide clarification on certain matters.
First and foremost, we want to acknowledge that there may have been some miscommunication during the interview process, and for that, we sincerely apologize. However, we would like to clarify that several aspects of your review do not accurately represent our company's standard practices or what actually took place.
We wish to acknowledge that the job posting specified a full-time position, while it became apparent during the interview process that you were primarily interested in a freelance opportunity. Unfortunately, this misalignment in expectations emerged relatively late in the evaluation process, as we were prepared to extend an immediate offer for full-time employment. We would have appreciated it if you had communicated your preference and salary expectations at an earlier stage of the recruitment process, enabling us to consider your aspirations more effectively.
Project Compensation: We requested an invoice and W9 in order to release payment and after not receiving those items, we followed up a few times and it took a while until we received the invoice and W9 from you. We paid the invoice almost immediately upon receipt.
CEO Interaction: We take your feedback regarding your interaction with our CEO seriously. Our leadership team is committed to maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor at all times, and we apologize if you felt this was not the case. It happens that our CEO is an incredibly nice and caring person and was actually very impressed with your work and was looking forward to having you on board full time.
Pay: We continuously review our compensation packages to ensure they are competitive, align with industry standards, and quite often exceed industry standards. In fact, we are known in the industry as one of the top companies to work for. If the salary range didn’t work for you, you should have communicated that at the start of the interview process and we would have discussed it and maybe worked something out.The salary range was fully disclosed and advertised in our job posting.
Contract Terms: Our contracts are standard and fair for both sides. Our employees would echo this statement. To call our contract “suspicious” is misleading and untrue. We’d greatly appreciate it if you gave us your lawyers contact information as we’d like to contact them to find out exactly why your lawyer “said no.” In all likelihood, your lawyer is not an employment attorney and doesn’t understand the local and customary employment agreements. We have a reputation of being fair and easy to work with.
It is essential to us that our potential candidates have a clear understanding of our company's values and processes. We believe in maintaining an open and honest dialogue with all individuals who interact with us.
