I applied online. I interviewed at Bison Solicitors
Interview
It was very a very Informal interview and more like a friendly chat on getting to know you as a person. Very friendly people and only lasted about 15 minutes.
Very straightforward, no curveballs or aptitude tests. Asked about previous experience outlined on CV and spoke about previous and current cases that the solicitor and the firm had been involved in.

I applied online. I interviewed at Bison Solicitors (Aldershot, England) in Apr 2023
Interview
The interview itself was fine, albeit they were asking how I’d handle situations a paralegal shouldn’t be expected to be in, which was the first red flag. At the time I couldn’t tell if it was their interview technique to see if I was up for the job or not, but having read other reviews I now know they expect qualified fee earning work from paralegals in exchange for insulting salaries. I was offered the role the next day, but noticed some discrepancies between what was offered and what I was told in the interview, so I went back to question this, and ask some further general questions. I received no answer to my questions, and instead they withdrew the offer of employment providing no reasoning. I am so thankful they did this as I now know I dodged a bullet. Funnily, the director then contacted me 6 months later to say I looked a good fit for the same role being advertised again.
