I applied online. I interviewed at BlackRock in Mar 2015
Interview
x2 interviews (30 min each)
Both were considerably relaxed - I spoke to two analysts within the group. The first was more casual and like a conversation about my past experience and with some light competency based questions, a long with a couple technical Q's regarding risk.
The second was somewhat more challenging with more technical Q's surrounding risk and return and included some fixed income questions.

HR reached out to me after a successful virtual cover letter, and booked my an interview with one of the team's analysts. The analyst was really nice and the interview wasn't at all technical, more kind of getting to know me.
