I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Block (Toronto, ON) in Dec 2020
Interview
The whole process was very smooth. My recruiter was very communicative. I did the first technical interview on a collaborative IDE, did a data structure question. Was not too hard, definitely LeetCode easy/medium. The question involved creating several functions to solve a problem, and had two parts. The interviewer was very kind and helpful, felt like we were having a conversation. It was my first technical interview ever, and even though I wasn’t given an offer, the whole process was smooth and relaxed, which was definitely very assuring to me as a newbie in the professional field.
