      UX Designer Interview

      24 Oct 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bucharest, Bucuresti
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Bookzone (Bucharest, Bucuresti) in Aug 2024

      Interview

I am very disappointed in the basic lack of respect they have shown. I was contacted by phone. The next step was briefly described to me, namely that I would be sent a questionnaire. I received the said questionnaire by email. I thought it would be something simple, ready in minutes. It was not the case. I worked for 8 hours to complete it and not because I'm slow minded, but because these were open-ended and elaborate answers. I have the ability to objectively evaluate my work, therefore I am quite convinced that the way I answered is a good one, worthy of consideration. The whole process was slow and annoying, but I did it hoping it would be worth it. Absolutely not at all. They ghosted me.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The process I went through: 1. Very short phone conversation. 2. Questionnaire with short story-type open-ended answers. 3. Being ghosted.
