BAH outsources their hiring/recruiters so it is hard to even get a clear sense of the company since the recruiters don't necessarily work for the company. It makes you have to be on top of your game, following up consistently with the recruiter.
Also after interviewing with the head of the department I was told I would hear back from him within the week. 2 weeks later and 4 unanswered emails/phone messages I threw in the towel. I even called and got ahold of the person who was still being very kind and asked me to call back in 5 minutes because he was finishing up something- called 5 min later. He didn't pick up. Called 3 hours later. Same thing. I'm totally fine with not being the top pick for the job, but the least you can do is tell me one way or another. Do what you say you're going to do! Show a little decency and respect!
I would never want to work with BAH after that....it might have been one person but it put an ill taste in my mouth that someone could appear so nice and then keep dodging calls and emails. People deserve an answer one way or another, especially after you told them to follow-up. I did my part. They should do theirs.
