I applied online for the Program Manager for Recruitment and Workforce Development at City College NY. This company seemed great but after a month of interviewing and still no offer I decided to withdraw my application.
I had a phone screening, zoom interview with my potential supervisor, a project that required at least 3 hours of unpaid time, and zoom group interview with 3 people. I then received a call from HR asking if I could come into the office for an additional interview since they were considering me for positions at two different locations. After that fourth interview I was told I would hear back within a week. Two weeks later I received an email asking to please reach out at my earliest convenience. The call was to schedule me for now a fifth interview! Still no answer on if I was getting the job or not. When I asked about the salary the recruiter admitted that although the max stated in the job description was $69,000 they usually don't offer the max and that maybe in a year I may qualify for the remaining amount with a raise. They also have a nonnegotiable policy when it comes to salary.
