First call with HR, second interview with hiring manager, then a coding and software development test, and finally a technical interview. All people I spoke to where friendly and professional and gave me a very good impression. The interview process was mostly based on what I would be able to do should I join the team, rather than what I did in the past, which I appreciate as a modern, good way to assess skills and potential. The compensation we discussed was fair, in line with similar positions in Sweden. Eventually, they decided for an internal hire. The process was on the long side (it took one full month). However, I truly appreciated that the HR recruiter called me on my phone to communicate the decision, rather than sending a template email or ghosting. So even if I was not offered the job, I felt treated with respect. Definitely a company where I can see myself work some time in the future
