I was very underwhelmed by the company and the interview process. I spoke with Madhusudan, the current president.
It took a good amount of chasing on my end to schedule the interview once they had decided that they wanted to do it, which is generally a red flag.
After completing the problem set, I heard back from the interviewer once (after some delay), explaining that the delayed response was owed to them having launched in a new market, but that they would be circling back presently. They never did, and a couple follow up emails went unanswered.
General impression is that cheap capital has CasaOne/BureauOne thinking they're really on to something and that actual investment in people and systems isn't a priority. I'd guess that short/medium term market realities will force them to 1) prioritize actual work, or 2) go out of business. My money is on the latter.
