I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CST Training (Liverpool, England) in Mar 2025
Interview
After applying, I was promptly invited to an interview over Google Meet with the Sales Director and informed that the process would consist of two stages. The first interview was quite informal and primarily focused on my experience. I was then told that I had successfully progressed to the next stage, which would involve competency-based questions with both the Sales Director and the Head of Sales.
However, when the second interview took place, it turned out to be another surface-level conversation, and I was not asked the competency-based questions I had prepared for. I was initially told I would receive an outcome by the end of the week, but a full seven days passed without any communication. I had to repeatedly reach out to both interviewers on LinkedIn to finally get a response. Eventually, I was informed that an additional interview via video call would be required.
Despite my growing concerns due to poor communication, I agreed to proceed. However, just two hours before the scheduled interview, I received an email from HR stating that they were no longer moving forward with my application and were canceling the interview.
To say this process was poorly managed by CST is an understatement. The lack of professionalism and communication was incredibly frustrating, and I would not recommend engaging with this company.
Informative, professional and personable. An enjoyable experience that allowed me the time and space to fully understand what my role would be within the business and the KPI's to ensure I would be successful.
