Calyxt interview questions

The interview was straightforward and the questions were related to what was my past experience/knowledge with examples included. I had the chance to talk to both Senior accountant and Director. My impression was that they were approachable and people-oriented. I ended up going to a different company but still I believe that they were amenable.

I had a phone interview with a recruiter/HR and another phone interview with the direct manager one week later. The process was simple: the first phone call went over the job description and salary requirements. The second phone interview was more technical and in depth about the culture of the company. Unfortunately the hiring situation changed and Calyxt decided to not hire another scientist. Still, I really enjoyed both interviews and really came out respecting the direct manager.
