I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Camp Ruff It (New York, NY)
Interview
I saw they were hiring online so I filled out an application and brought it in to meet a manager face to face. They asked me why I thought I'd be a good fit and we talked about my experience volunteering at shelters in the past. They asked if I would come in for an unpaid trial run for a couple hours to get a feel for what a typical day was like. I got to play with and supervise dogs with some of the current staff who were really nice. After about 2 hours they offered me the job and asked when I could start.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Camp Ruff It
Interview
They said on their website to apply in person, so I went ahead and did. As soon as I filled out an application they took me back into their warehouse and showed me their building. I seemed interested in the position as well as the dogs, so they asked me to come in for a four hour unpaid trial, where I went in with the dogs and they showed me how the day was run. After that four hours they asked me when I would be able to start, and was offered the job on the spot.
