I was interviewed by several people, including existing engineering directors, and the CEO (twice). I was required to write an essay as part of the hiring process, and I was asked about it during the interview. After my third or fourth interview I was asked to write another short essay addressing a particular topic. I was also required to take two automated assessments, one on personality and one on intelligence, which surprised me very much. The interviewers were curious, polite and friendly. Our interviews were conversational and wide-ranging. The interviews with the CEO were tougher, and seemed to be probing for some perceived weaknesses, but he was also polite and pleasant. The process was considerably slower than I had expected. I thought at one point that my application must have been declined, but it was just a long period of silence between communications.

Applied through LinkedIn, they sent me 20 questions to answer, each one I can write a book to answer! don't do that, they are absolute time wasters, you will get no feedback what's so ever, and they don't even send an email to say no, just keep waiting, when chased for a decision, they said we can not give you an answer, just wait!!!
