After sending my CV they sent me a "written interview" of no less then *100 QUESTIONS AND SUBQUESTIONS*. These in-depth questions dig deep into my career of 10+ years and include: - Completely irrelevant questions such as "How did you rank in your final year of high school in languages and the arts" - Too broad questions like "What kinds of software projects have you worked on before? Which operating systems, development environments, languages, databases?" Having 10+ years of experience at 5 different companies, I can't possibly sum it all up in one question. That's what the CV is for. - Strange questions like "Who are Canonical's key competitors, and how should Canonical set about winning?" or "What would you most want to change about Canonical?" How would I know? I am not working for them This written interview is ridiculous, time-consuming, and an utter disrespect of my time. I obviously withdrew my application.
