Carl Friedrik interview questions

After a quick phone call, I was scheduled for a video interview with one of the owners. He seemed quite uninterested, didn’t ask many questions, and the interview didn’t last more than 15 minutes. I wasn’t sure what didn’t meet his expectations, but it was clear I wouldn’t pass that stage. Shortly after the interview, I wrote back to ask whether I had moved to the next round and was informed that the answer was no. There was no explanation for the decision. One year later, the position is open again. I’m not sure whether they lost the person they chose or if the whole thing was simply market research.
