I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Checkpoint
Interview
The interviewer called me, we had a brief conversation, she said she will send me an assignment later that day and I didn’t get anything. Tried calling back the next day to make sure that I understood her correctly, she said she’ll call back and I haven’t heard from her again. About 2 weeks later got a rejection letter.
Judging by the interview process, dodged a bullet there.
I applied online. I interviewed at Checkpoint in May 2022
Interview
I had two interviews with the department managers, and the 2nd one went well, the manager gave me a home assignment for the next step (not a tech test and no deadline). We agreed that we would discuss it in the next meeting once they schedule it with them and their VP. No response no update for two straight weeks, and then a "thanks but no" email.
This is ridiculous and disrespectful to the candidates - why waste everyone's time and effort for two weeks?
