I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Williamsburg, VA) in Jan 2015
Interview
I filled out an app online and maybe two weeks late recieved an email to come in for an interview. At this interview there were four of us including me sitting at individual tables. We waited about 10 minutes and the manager came in and asked who arrived first (I did) and moved me to a table to the side. He asked me general questions like ; who am i, why chipotle, experience, what food do you like here, availability, would you be interested in moving up in the company, and maybe a few others. He also have a ton of information about the company. He told me I would get a call or email for another interview. A day later was the next interview where there were maybe 20 people. Me and another guy were pulled aside and given a tour following being interviewed by three crew members with the same general questions. They really wanted to see if you "fit"and wwould get along with everyone. After they conviened, I was told I got the job and would be sent an email regarding all the necessary paperwork.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1

Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
