I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle in Mar 2015
Interview
Unprofessional, took too long for the interviewer to get there and was then cut too short. As soon as the interviewer heard I go to school 5 hours away, she was immediately turned off. Since they hire from the inside they really stress they want "loyal and dedicated" employees and she would like me to be rolling burritos for 10 years. I'm going to college for a reason!
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
