My experience with this company's hiring process was disappointing. During the second interview, I was asked how I would handle a situation in line with the company’s policies and procedures—something difficult to answer without already being employed there. Despite this, I proceeded through the pre-medical assessment and reference checks and even received a verbal job offer. On Friday, I met with the team informally over coffee, and discussions were underway regarding IT assets for my agreed start date. However, on Monday morning, I received a call from the Talent Acquisition team stating that new information had come to light, and they were rescinding the offer. This was especially frustrating as I had already turned down another opportunity in favor of this role. To add to the disappointment, I reached out to the head of the TA team for clarification but never received a response. The lack of communication and professionalism throughout this process was frustrating, and I can only take this as a sign that this is not a company I would want to be in business with.
