I had a truly unpleasant experience interviewing at Clikalia and would strongly caution anyone considering applying.
From the start, the process was disorganized. Coordinating the initial call with took far longer than it should have. Communication was slow and inconsistent, and the time for the call was never properly confirmed — which resulted in me waiting around for hours. It was unprofessional and showed a clear lack of respect for my time.
The first 15-minute introductory call (in Spanish) went well. I was then invited to an in-person interview, which I was genuinely excited about — especially as it would include English. The interview lasted around 45 minutes to an hour. It was a mix of Spanish and English, and by all indications, it went very well.
And then — nothing.
After taking the time to prepare, travel in person, and invest nearly an hour interviewing, I was completely ghosted. No update. No rejection. No response to follow-ups. Nothing.
Ghosting a candidate after an in-person interview is not just careless — it’s disrespectful. It shows a fundamental lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. Even a one-line rejection email would have demonstrated minimal regard for someone’s time and effort.
For a company offering a low salary and requiring five days in-office, the least they could offer is a structured and respectful hiring process. This experience was a massive red flag, and based on how candidates are treated, I can only imagine how employees are treated internally.
Proceed with caution.
