Interview
Cobham had an opening for an engineering manager with Embedded design and RF experience. The position was recommended to me by an employee of the hiring manager. He gave the hiring manager my resume. The interview was conducted by the acting engineering manager and his manager. They seemed very interested in getting a qualified replacement for the engineering manager so that he could progress to the job of doing business development.

This position has 20 engineers / technical people reporting into it. Since you have only 10 people working for you today, why would you consider yourself qualified for this position.

Interview
It was set in a good ambience and comfortable situation to face the interview. The hiring was through a recuriter and started with technical round of questions. It was over all a good experience and laborious as it covered both technical and management round of questions and was very well planned and it took a considerable time to assess the situation and reply.
