It was very hard to get an interview. I initially applied to the positions several times with out getting a response. Finally I went and requested to speak to the hiring manager.( I don's suggest that now) They filter applications at an outside location. If your application does not have the key words it is hard for it to ever reach the hiring manager. Persistence is the key.
