I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ComPsych (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Initial communication was from an HR manager. When I first came in for the interview, I met with him and he administered a timed test. He left the room during the exam and came in about a minute after the timer went off, which left me wondering if it was some kind of test to see if I'd stop as soon as the timer went off. Taking a test for an interview left me feeling very negatively about ComPysch as a potential employer. It was embarassing and condescending. I'm not in grade school anymore! Next, I interviewed with the few people who I would be supporting if I got the job. I found them to be unfriendly and unsure of what they wanted. Their interview questions were very vague. I didn't get too much of an impression of the office culture, except that it was a room full of high-walled cubicles and jarring neon lights. I didn't get the job (thankfully, because within a few weeks I had two great offers) but from what I could tell, it's not somewhere I wanted to work. Also, they took several weeks to even let me know I didn't get the offer (rude) and then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to interview for another open position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All the weird vague questions they asked like "what can you do for us?"
It was a quick and seamless interview, I talked with a recruiter about my qualifications and then went into what my personality is like. It was an easy and stress-free interview

Interview
I was first contacted by a recruiter and we had a phone interview. We went over my background and then about the position and company. He was great to speak with and was super friendly. The following week after the phone interview, I went in for an in-person interview with the manager and he was very rude. He seemed disinterested the whole time during the interview and would make snarky comments, and at the end of it he was essentially just belittling me.

Interview
I was very cautious of this company because of reviews on Glassdoor. I thought I'd give it a chance anyway. I scheduled to have a phone interview with HR that took about 15 min. I was asked the usual interview questions (experience, your hardest problem and how did you solve it, daily activities, etc.) Then we scheduled an in person meeting. On the day of the meeting with HR, I was given a test packet to complete. It had math and other problem solving questions and I had to complete as much as I could within the time limit. After the test I met with who would be my supervisor and another employee within the team.
Everyone I met seemed nice and laid back at first meeting. HR was very accommodating, though I got the sense my potential supervisor and other team members were that happy to be there. It also didn't help that on my way up the elevator going to meet HR, I overhead a conversation with a few ComPsych employees complaining about management and how employees are spread too thin with the workload.
I did get an offer, but it seemed they were desperate for someone to fill the position right away. I turned it down. Its too bad because the location is great, but with everything I had seen, it wasn't enough to risk changing jobs.
