I had 4 rounds of interviews, a 20 minute personality test and a detailed audit I performed as proof of my skills / qualifications. I accepted an offer and gave my two weeks with my current employer which is common practice. In that time I needed to be at my current job for 2 weeks to train my replacement(s) and wrap up any projects in which I am attached to. I signed the offer letter and noted via email start date two weeks from signature. I then received two emails that hit my spam folder about mandatory on site training starting 2 days following my acceptance during 9-5 working hours. I did not see these emails, nor could I have attended due to my two weeks notice requirement. I was then sent an email from the CEO receding my offer. This puts me out of pocket now with no job. I received no phone calls, only spam trap emails from HR. As a dedicated career professional I have never experienced this. Miscommunication perhaps on my end here which I take accountability for, but terrible communication on their end.
