I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Concordis International (London, England) in Apr 2019
Interview
I applied in February and 2 months later they invited me to a Skype interview with the Director of Programmes and Program Manager. The interview lasted almost 1h. They said that it would take them 1 week to let me know if I was selected, but 2 business days later they sent me an email with their final decision.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
At first they asked about my experiences abroad, and then they went into detail to ask about my MA thesis and research experiences. I had to explain my methodology and especially my findings. They wanted to know why I decided to write about that topic. They also asked competency-based questions, things that I learnt in my experiences abroad, and my IT skills. The interview went really into detail about academic background, professional experiences, and previous internships. They asked about my knowledge about mediation in conflict. I had the interview in English and French (fluency in both languages were required for the internship).
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Concordis International in Sept 2024
Interview
The interview for their Programme Intern position lasted about an hour and included a number of questions regarding myself, and my past relevant experiences on the specific topic it pertained to (peacebuilding and conflict resolution), other questions touched upon more technical aspects related to peacebuilding. I was also given the opportunity to speak about relevant matters that may not have been touched upon by the interviewers, and finally discussed my potential availabilities.
