I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DISH in Jul 2013
Interview
I applied for the position online. I was contacted by email to set up a phone interview. We spent about 40 minutes on the phone, going over the responsibilities, my history, etc. I was told I would have to take an assessment test online to continue in the process, which I could complete in the next week or so. I felt the interview went very well; it was a very friendly and relaxed conversation.
I completed the online assessment, managing to answer all the questions in less than the time allowed. For the most part, I was quite confident in my answers. There were some questions regarding the math and mechanics of business operations, and some that were more targeted at determining personality.
Once I completed the test, I contacted the recruiter again by email. He thanked me and indicated that I should be hearing something from them.
During the phone interview, the recruiter indicated that even if the GM position did not work out, they would still be interested in talking about other management positions in the area, and that they would definitely be keeping in touch regarding this. However, I have heard nothing since then. The lack of further communications is disappointing (given the prior enthusiasm) but sadly is all to common now. A simple "no thanks" would have gone a long way.

Question 1
The online assessment test is actually somewhat difficult in parts.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at DISH (Denver, CO)
Interview
The Online application process was very clunky. I had a screening call with recruiter, then 2 interviews with team members and one with the SVP. Reference checks with three contacts. The process took several weeks and interviews were canceled last-minute.

What is the hardest thing I ever had to do in a job?
We take this feedback as an opportunity to grow and will be sure to share it with our team. Thank you for taking the time to share. Congrats and welcome to DISH!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DISH (Denver, CO) in Sept 2014
Interview
Applied online, did various assessments both online and in the office (Wonderlic, GCI). If you pass the assessments you can advance through the interview process. After passing the assessments I met with a couple people locally and then 6-7 people at the corporate office in Denver. Very thorough and thoughtful process.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at DISH (New York, NY) in Apr 2014
Interview
Lengthy hiring practice. Test taking to be considered for employment. Frugality is a company edict. Hunters and risk takers best suited for the company. Focus on achievements and ability to stretch beyond current roles and responsibilities
