Interview
i applied online recived a phone call 5-6 days later had a phone interview... phone interview was very laid back... after my phone interview i recieved a phone call 2 hours later about setting up an inperson interview.... i made it for the following friday... that following friday came today and the in person interview was very nice.. i had the interview with the installer manager... he was really laid back and made the interview process really easy.. i asked alot of question to show i was very interested in the position which i am... interview lasted 45mins to a hour asked normal interview questions and was very truthfull about the hiring process.... he gave me a tour of the location..... after the interview i asked how did i do and he said i should be expecting good news within a couple days....then its physical and drug test time... so i will keep you guys updated but its looking pretty good.....
UPDATE:6/8/2011
i took the drug test, background check and dmv test and past them all... it took about a week for everything to come back today i was offered a job and class start monday 6/13/2011 but i have to take a physical firday and sign some new hire papers..... its looking good for me
6/9/11
I took my physical test today and I passed everything I am officially an employee of Dish Network...
Just remember when you take your physical your blood pressure is where it needs to be if not then you automatically fail the test.... But it was easy overall total process took less than a month from phone interview till today...
Good Luck
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DISH (Hartford, CT) in Apr 2025
Interview
**Build Rapport**: Start with light conversation to ease nerves.
- **Set the Agenda**: Briefly explain the flow and timeline.
- **Active Listening**: Take notes, ask follow-ups, and avoid interruptions.
- **Time Management**: Allocate time per section to cover all points without rushing.
- **Q&A**: Reserve 5–10 minutes for the interviewee’s questions.
The process is fast and easy: I got a call that explained the position, pay, and hiring process and moved on the the next step which was a virtual interview and that was scheduled for the very next day. Very professional and knowledgeable of the position and hiring process.
