Terrible and unprofessional. There's a clear lack of empathy or support, and I've never experienced such passive-aggressiveness during an interview process. The way they treat candidates is telling, and it makes me wonder how they treat the people who actually work there.

In one sentence, why should we hire you over other candidates?
Totally unprofessional and exploitative hiring process. They have no actual idea on what they're hiring for, and even ask you to work on a home task closely related to their own work. High technical/engineering competence. Zero product, design, and leadership maturity.
Initial screening by a recruiter, was pretty standard (walk me through your resume, why do you want to join, etc). Not much feedback, never made it to the next step.
