      Flight Attendant Interview Interview

      26 Jan 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Atlanta, GA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Dec 2023

      Interview

When I went, I did not have a cart group activity. My group activity was about putting events in order according to the intensity of the emergency. For example: a child is lost, a passenger lost their bag, a passenger is having a heart attack so on and so forth. When you’re done, the people who watched you, ask you how you contributed, why you liked the order you chose, and what you thought of your team. I want to express how important it is to be yourself BEFORE you even get into the interview. Things I didn’t like was when we were sitting in the lobby waiting for the interviewers to come and get us and the entire group around me decided to pray over us. If you do not believe in certain things or want that kind of mindset going into an interview, please speak up and then excuse yourself while they do what they feel is right and come back after they are done. I have different beliefs and the group there decided to pray with everyone in the room and it made me uncomfortable. It caught me off guard. This also goes for the other side. Please, do not pray over strangers. Pray for self and move along. Not everyone builds their mindset through religion. I had no trouble throughout my interview. Until the very end. I was asked to role play. My role play was to explain to the passenger that their bag would need to go beneath the plane because there was no more space overhead and boyyyy did I stumble. LOL! I knew then I wouldn’t be getting the job. This was December 2023. I reapplied again this year but my heart wasn’t in it. And I think deep down I knew it already because when I got to the video interview, my interview cut off on me about 32 times. And I said screw it. To those of you who want Delta, go for it. If I were you, I would make my resume stand out. Add color and a photo and a really cool cover letter. Be genuine. Say yes when it’s time to say yes. And no when it’s time to say no. I said yes 2023 and have now said no 2024/2025. Priorities change. Also, there is another way to do aviation and it’s in PRIVATE aviation. You get paid more and don’t have to work as many hours. Look into that if it doesn’t work out with delta. Good luck!

      Application

The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines in Oct 2016

      Interview

This has been a long process so remember to be patient. I applied in August and didn't receive an email for a video interview until October 5th. I completed it within the 3 day time frame and have not heard back yet. There were six questions that were recorded and then 3 questions you had to click yes or no for regarding tattoos and uniforms and such. The questions have all been listed here but I'll write them again. Please know that the questions were much wordier than what I've written but these will give you the gist so you can prepare successfully. You have the opportunity to practice and I would suggest doing so if you've never done a video interview before. Also, practice the questions but don't memorize answers word for word or you won't appear natural and consider using the STAR method. It is a nerve wracking experience no matter how awesome you are so keep that confidence up and learn from it all. I felt so good going in and then could swear I was a bumbling idiot who just gave the video reviewers ample material to laugh at when out for drinks :) The one thing that I wasn't able to do is thank them for reviewing my video. At the start it said there were 9 questions. Well, I was unaware the last 3 weren't recorded so on question #6 I didn't say thank you thinking there were more. Just keep that in mind. Overall, it was a worthwhile and beneficial experience but I have say that I'd rather sit in a room with 20 CEOs drilling me with questions!! Good luck to everyone!
