I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Diagnostic Robotics
Interview
The process was very demanding. 5/6 technical rounds, with a deep ML/DS algorithmic question and a takehome assignment that took a good amount of time to work on. The engineering team were great, and conducted the interviews personably and professionally. That said, the HR interview was probably the rudest and least respectful interview I've had in my career. Her communication style was quite off-putting, and felt like she already decided not to hire me before the interview began.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Tabular ML feature selection question. 2. Topic modeling question.
The interviewer couldn't speak English well enough to explain the role in details and understand the candidate. The first interview was by a phone call and it lasted about 15 minutes.
3 interviews, HR (phone), a peer (VC) and hiring manager (VC). Everyone was cordial and the process seemed quick. I felt the last interview was rushed, like the manager had made up her mind to go with someone else and this was "just for the books".
