I received a phone call from HR. She asked about my background and previous experience, then told me she would send an assessment that needed to be submitted within 48 hours.
The assessment required developing a custom Odoo module (which aligns with the role and the company’s services in Odoo development) and submitting the solution in a GitHub repository. Five days after submitting the assessment, I received another call from HR to schedule an online interview.
The interview, however, was completely unprofessional. They began without introducing themselves. I turned on my camera, assuming it was standard, but when I noticed theirs was off, I thought it was fine to turn mine off too. Apparently, it wasn’t, they asked me to turn it back on. The session felt more like a strict Q&A;A than a conversation. I tried to break the ice and asked for examples to make it more interactive, but they said the questions were clear. Immediately after the interview, I received a rejection.
