I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DraftKings
Interview
Contacted by recruiter through LinkedIn, they set up a code pair round for the tech screen. They restrict the languages in which you can take it. Recruiter was nice and gave sufficient info on salary etc.
After the tech screen, I got ghosted. Can't stand companies that ghost. Blacklisted forever.

Question 1
Got the discounts-customers question mentioned by other posters. The question itself was not hard, but the interviewer was condescending, non-communicative, and judgy. I let them know ahead of time that I'm coding in a language that I haven't used in several years, so they were understanding of my syntactic limitations, but the snobby attitude along with poor lighting on their end made the atmosphere feel not-so-professional.
As if this weren't bad enough, the interviewer actively led me down wrong paths at least twice (and I had to correct them, and explain why). I don't mean that they asked me about alternate approaches and why they were not valid. The interviewer actually suggested my solution was wrong and will not work for certain cases and I had to take a few minutes to help them understand the code even though I had already walked them through my approach before coding.
Imo the interviewer was not well-trained and the shadower was silent throughout.
I had my first HR interview with DraftKings. It was mainly about getting to know the company, understanding the general role, talking about my past experience, and answering few easy initial technical questions.

Question 1
what is the difference between local position and position?
I applied online. I interviewed at DraftKings (Boston, MA) in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview process was fairly straightforward - after the screening and technical interview they put you in a 3 hour final round with three separate interviews back-to-back, the last one being a chat with the team lead. The recruiter was nice and helpful throughout the process.

system design interview to build facebook messenger
The whole process was very friendly.
HR provided comfortable and on-time communication and interview arrangements.
Interviewers were professional, basically, but not all of them would like to help during the interviews.
