There are several steps in the recruitment process. I will describe briefly down below:
- First Step is a Preliminary Assesment. In this step, you will have to do a test regarding basic accounting, basic auditing, English test, and essay. This is a little bit tricky. I did this test in 2015 right after I graduate from uni and I failed, simply because I didn't prepare enough and I was very nervous. But in 2018, I re-do this test again, I am more relaxed and prepared. So guys, please if you got the email to do this test; learn as much as you can about your Basic Accounting and Auditing book - just to refresh your mind. And don't be anxious.
- The second step is HR Interview. Once you passed the preliminary test and you will get an email to attend an interview. This whole interview will use 100% English (I think the main goal is to gauge your ability in speaking English) so if your English is a bit off, practice as much as you can in front of the mirror. AND BE CONFIDENT!
- After that, about 2 weeks time you will get an email to attend a User interview. Now, this interview has a lot of pressure, I know. Because this is the last step to your dream job and you don't want to mess this up. I was given 2 days before the interview day - and so I prepare myself because they will test your accounting and auditing face to face. But relax, in my experience, they used Bahasa Indonesia. They asked me about Audit Procedures: Inventory, Cash, Account Receivables. Depreciation Methods,
Good luck, job seekers!
