The process took 1 day. I interviewed at EY (New York, NY) in Oct 2008
Interview
The one on one interview itself was everything I had been told to expect. It consisted of a lot of questions of my personality and experiences I had in the past. Most of them focused on group work and wanted to see how well I worked with others. The interviewer also described the job role thoroughly and wanted to make sure I had fully understood what position they were interviewing me for.
Overall it was a great interview and really what I had expected - personality and group experiences. Unfortunately I was not lucky enough to get an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Name a time when you had to make a hard decision in a group environment.
Written test with accounting basics and then there was an interview conducted where the asked questions about core accounting concepts and what we can expect from this role. It was very chill and they patiently listened
Got through to the final round, no feedback was provided despite numerous follow ups. Poor experience and unclear why no feedback was provided. Feels a but unfair when prep is expected by the candidate
I applied through college career website during my junior year in college. I was notified by email that I am selected for an on-campus interview. I had two consecutive interviews with a senior manager and a partner of EY on campus.
