      Risk Advisory Staff Interview

      24 Oct 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Cincinnati, OH
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at EY (Cincinnati, OH) in Oct 2017

      Interview

I spoke with the company at my school's career fair. I got a phone call about a week or two later. It was a general screening phone call going over the job, expectations, etc. Then I went in the following week for their half-day interview process. There were a lot of other interviewees there. We met up in the morning and they presented on the company, culture, and introduced themselves with a little background into how their career at EY had gone. Then we each got a "buddy" which is just a person who is currently in the role we were interviewing for. They took us to 3 rounds of interviews; my first round was the case interview, which they changed from the last format. Instead of one case with 10 minutes prep time they give you 3-6 mini-cases and a few minutes to reflect and pitch. It's meant to see how people think and where their minds go first. It was fun, nothing too challenging. The next two interviews were basic behavioral interviews mixed with general conversation. They like when you ask them a lot of questions about their career paths.
