I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at EY (Pune) in Dec 2009
Interview
Well the interview was quite ok except the Director was very shrewd and HR round was too detailed. Seems HR was more into technical than soft skills approach.
Salary negotiation took longer than expected. The management wasn't open to negotiate.
Offer letter was given after 4 weeks and job expectations were not clear. Work culture in Pune office is terrible. Groupism and preference to males and lack of communication. Major population spoke marathi and non English. Bad experience so far. Its not EY but basically S R Batliboi work envt. Wont recommend anyone with international exp to join Pune Office.
HR is pathetic. Bosses directly control every thing. No space given to employee.
