      Java Architect Interview

      25 Aug 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at EY

      Interview

It was first technical round and they’ve given programming exercise where they’ll ask you to write entire application on spring boot. Here’s the catch HR and interviewer doesn’t have sync on time lines when to submit it. They expect us to write code in such a way that they’ve given time of half a month (which was just 2 days in actual and I believe very less people will accept this kind of interview where you need to write big chunk of code before any formal interview). HR seemed to be in hurry and that director who was taking the interview was bit fine on sufficient time given. Director didn’t had clue on what he asked in solution, we we’re going back and forth in requirement docs to understand the scope. That communication gap between HR and interviews can certainly impact the interviewee and I’m happy that I haven’t got selected.
