The interview process was 6 hour long interviews, including one over lunch. It was a grueling day, but the interviewers were friendly and the environment was very professional. It was a positive experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How does your experience help you manage people and work as a team?
STAR format. Interviewers are good at making you feel comfortable. Plant tour is included. Interviewed with potential peers and management heads. Felt like some interviewers asked similar but differently worded questions.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Eastman (Kingsport, TN) in Aug 2024
Interview
There are two rounds of 45-minute interviews with panels of three or four people. The interviewers were all chemical engineers in a management position of some sort. Group leader or director mostly. The interview questions are mainly STAR type behavioral questions. They like when you use your technical experience to help answer the questions even if the final answer is to describe your own personality or something else not technical. They appreciated that I came prepared with a good, tough question for the interviewers and a print-out of some of the work I have done and planned to speak about during the interview.

Question 1
Tbh, I don't remember much of anything from the interviews question wise. Must be a trauma event or something where I don't remember specifics lol. But I will say just be prepared for unexpected STAR questions: stuff like "name a time you had to implement a decision even if it wasn't popular", or "describe a project you failed on and how did you work past it?"
