I interviewed with the floor manager, got a tour of the floor, met other nurses, then got to interview with a charge nurse. I had an offer that afternoon. I went to HRthat same week, the orientation the next week

Contacted directly by floor manager for interview. No interview with HR.
Had a nurse to nurse interview before my scheduled interview with floor manager.
Manager listens to the opinion of the interviewing nurse in order to make a decision.
Manage mainly told me about the floor I would be working on, did not ask many questions.

Met with the director of ED first and was shown around the unit. Then was brought to the staff lounge where the interview was conducted. Two employees also sat in on the interview and asked me questions.
