Their hiring process takes forever. Almost a month passed between the screening and the first manager interview, followed by another month of complete silence. At this point, I’ll probably reach the final stage sometime before I retire - if I’m lucky.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Eleving Group (Riga) in Dec 2023
Interview
I was approached by referral about the position. There was only one interview - with direct manager and Head of Debt Collection. The interview was structured and fairly easy, I could answer all the answers and explain my thinking process.
After the interview there was a soft offer, but I declined as for me the role felt too focused on debt collection processes and not others. Plus, the expectations felt a bit unrealistic - it indicated high probability of burnout, plus there would've been travel to Africa and I was not ready to travel so far for business trips.

Question 1
Explain how you would organize a process improvement initiative in debt collection area.
I applied online. I interviewed at Eleving Group in Jun 2025
Interview
I interviewed for an HR role at Eleving Group and was told at the end of the interview that I would be contacted within a day regarding next steps. After not hearing back, I followed up twice over the following weeks but received no response from either the recruiter or the hiring manager, which is called "ghosting".
Unfortunately, I experienced no closure on the process, which I found disappointing. Clear and timely communication is a key part of a positive candidate experience, and a lack of response leaves a negative impression of the company’s professionalism and employer brand.
