There are two owners I first met with what I referred to as the lapdog owner because he really does not have final say on anything. Meeting with him the description of the job, duties and benefits and compensation sounded phenomenal and it was a good first meeting. He asked that I first meet with his "business partner" before officially receiving my job offer. It was when I met the partner that I realized HE was the actual decision maker and the lapdog was just a yes man with the title of partner. The actual decision maker was for a lack of better words atrocious. He was very smug in our initial meeting and bragged about how much money he has rather than explain the job. He went so far as offering six figures for my position which I accepted but requested in writing and I still haven't received the offer in writing.
