Avoid - they are unprofessional, dismissive and very transactional. Overall it was a highly disappointing experience and I expected more given that a) they approached me to discuss the captioned role and b) I had spent significant time (as they did too) discussing at length business plans, org structure, success milestones for the role - only to be ghosted and rejected with a generic "we found a better candidate".
It is a hugely competitive market so this understandably happens - my issue is with the fact that they ignored my follow up messages over 3 entire weeks and finally responded in a way that showed complete lack of regard for your personal input into the process, when they were the ones who invited me in. They had mentioned there was a competing candidate, so why not operate on honesty and notify me/candidates early on that a decision was made early on? This complete disrespect for the candidate experience is hugely off putting and says enough about their (lack of good) practices.
The founders are a husband and wife tag team, so that should have been clearly indicative of a poorly run organisation despite their idealistic visions and self-promotional talk of upholding high standards for their private educational services. It seems ironic that they speak of wanting to build a better culture yet behaviourally show signs of entitlement and unprofessionalism.
