The interview was different from what I was used to at other institutions. I only interviewed with the department director. No other staff was involved, nor did I get an opportunity to interact with them on the day of the interview, which was only a couple of hours long as well.

Interview
My interview was very straightforward. They ask the basic 'getting to know you' questions, then move into the situational questions. I can tell they aren't really looking for a 'right or wrong' answer, but rather to see if you are consistent throughout the interview. They tend to notice discrepancies in your stories and can tell if you pad your story a bit.
