Fairly easy react + node questions nothing too complicated. Went through several behavioral rounds with the CEO, VP, and numerous PMs. The entire process took about 1.5 weeks. Cool place to work!
Recruit call, then hiring manager, then assessment. It was a good process. The recruiter was exceptional! The assessment was good: quick and included mock examples. The company has a unique 4 day work week policy! They are very mission-driven and care about work life balance.
I applied online. I interviewed at Emtrain in Dec 2021
Interview
I passed the first two rounds of interviews. Before being moved to the second round, my recruiter said management was concerned about my gap in the resume, and wanted an explanation. They were satisfied with my explanation and moved me forward.
Recruiting process is a total of four rounds. Third round consists of interviewing with three different people. My interviews with these three people were scheduled on different days, and so my recruiting process felt like five or six rounds in total. Two to three professional references are required.
Throughout this process, my interviewers were professional and seemed passionate about the company and it’s mission. The concern over my employment gap, the high number of rounds, and the requirement of professional references have turned me off from this company.
The people were great, the recruiting process is frustrating and outdated.
